Comment: | Hard to believe it has been 40 years. I've been married for 37 years to Jack. He is retired Navy and now retired from United Airlines. We designed and built our Home in Washington. We have an incrediable view of the Cascades and Mt. Rainer( on a clear day). My two passions are our Grandson Jacob ( my little sunshine) and the rescue and adoption of ex-racing greyhounds. I'm on the Board of Directors and the acting Treasurer. These dogs are incrediable . It is such fun when we get a new load in from various places around the US. I fall in love all over again. I love the Northwest! Sorry I won't be at the reunion and will think of you all and the great times I had at Hilltop. By the way my husband is cousin to Nancy Speaks and Jack and I didn't know till after we were married. Small world. If you are ever up our way please call. Bunny |

Comment: | Well as you can see from the Photo from this last Christmas 2007, Ruth and I have our hands full with our three kids Paul(14), Nicholas(13) and Kristi(9). I spent 15 years working as an IRS Agent here in San Diego, got my law degree and CPA license and now work as a sole practitioner in Kearny Mesa doing representation and related work for my clients. Look forward to seeing all of you that show up to the Reunion! |

Comment: | WOW! 40 years! My life in a few sentences? Two wonderful sons and almost six grandchildren. After attending Southwestern College and UCSD, I went to work in research at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla and was there for over 25 years. Four years ago this April, after being single for 34 years, I remarried and moved to Arkansas. I now do research work for UAMS, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, in Little Rock. There are numerous beautiful hiking trails here and I really enjoy doing almost everything active outdoors. Over the years, I'v done quite a bit of traveling and run quite a few marathons. Mostly, I enjoy spending time with good friends and family and am looking forward to seeing all my "old" classmates at the reunion. |

Comment: | OK - 50 years - WOW where did time go - I lost my husband alittle over 3 years ago and it has really changed my life. He had a stroke and lasted 5 days before quietly dying. I didn't realize that I was as strong as I am and have moved froward with my life and as of the end of 2017 I am happily retire. Starting in January we started a big project of going through the mess and getting rid of a bunch of stuff. My husband was a pack rat and loved bring things home from job sites, so with the help from my daughter and grandkids, we went through my garage and I can now park my car inside. Now during the summer I'm working doing the same inside the house. I'm looking forward to seeing all you Lancers and ketching up on what's going on. |

Comment: | I'm looking forward to seeing everyone! I'm still living in the same house for over twenty years. My husband and I just celebrated our 25th. Our sons: Matthew (23) went to USCS and is continuing at SDSU. He started a mobile marketing business trailing signs behind motor bikes. He also travels alone to surf Indo and Central America for months. Wade (20) started at SDSU and is now studying at Mesa. Both live in Pacific Beach. I don't think I'll have grandchildren before the next ten years. I've sold my restaurants and still do some interior design. The maintenance on our home keeps me busy. We ski Sun Valley every March, travel to Cabo every April and October, and Puerto Vallarta for another week. I enjoy camping on Lake Powell, hiking the narrows in Zion, road trips to California wineries and Santa Fe, NM. Also we love visiting our friends on their trimarans. We have about 10 weeks a year of house guests. Life is full and good. I'm going to start doing some art work. I wonder if Sharon Canales kept up her art. Mr. Thomas is close friends to my mother's neighbor. I hope to see him. |

Comment: | Nearly 38 of the last 40 years of my life have been spent in the Washington DC area. My husband's military career brought him here in a specialized intelligence program. He traveled all over the world and I stayed here working in Federal Government. Together we have traveled overseas on vacations. We are looking forward to retirement next year and getting away from the East Coast (more specifically, Md & DC). After giving birth to our daughter I decided to be a stay at home mom and devote my time to raising her. When she was 11, we started our own video production business. It has been successful, fun and rewarding. |

Comment: | The "now" photo was taken in November, 2005 after I was reunited with my dogs post-Katrina. This fellow (Squint) ended up in a suburb of Dallas.Guess I should mention what I've been up to for the past 40 years. Got a bachelor's at SDSU and moved to New Orleans to attend graduate school at Tulane University. Started teaching college in New Orleans for about 12 years, got into administration for the past 16 years, and then decided to go back to the classroom when the "pointy-haired bosses" started to make me hate my job. So I'm teaching biology again, mostly to pre-nursing students (big nursing shortage down here, so they start at about $80K). Married for the past 13 years, no kids, but a lot of animals. |

Comment: | Hi Class of 68... it's hard to believe that we graduated 40 years ago. The time has flown by and I have enjoyed most of the years since graduating. I have been married for 25 years to the same wonderful man. His name is Jim. We have a daughter, who attends San Diego State and she will be 21 in a few weeks. Of course, we are busy planning for the "big night". I work at a company called Physician Management Group and I have been there for about five years. I am the Property Manager for several medical office buildings and Office Supervisor for the company. We work very closely with all of the Pediatric Specialist Physicians in San Diego and administer their Corporation. It is a very rewarding job and these physicians are incredible. I can't wait to see everyone after all of these years. Hopefully some of our classmates who haven't been able to attend the past Reunions, we be able to this year. |

Occupation: | Teacher in Waldorf Education |
Comment: | I am looking forward to this summer reunion. After not living in San Diego for 30 years, I have returned and taken a position in the only Waldorf School in San Diego. More to write when the year comes to a further close, but I am very grateful to several organizers that are making this posible for so many of us, and it seems to keep growing day by day. In a few days an exciting weekend will begin. My life is simple in many ways, but I feel so grateful for the people, experiences and paths it has taken. After 6 years of being Susan Curzon, I had one of the most peaceful paritings in a marriage one could have. We became more like brother and sister and I really wanted to work in a Waldorf School. My dreams as a teenager, was to work in an orphanage and I still want to have a go at this experience someday. For the past two and a half decades, I have been a teacher in Waldorf Education. Years ago I read, "It takes a village to raise a child". Every child, no matter what, is a gift to humanity and I wake up with the gratitude and energy to still be working in a vocation I love. |
