Comment: | Lets see.... At the 20th reunion, Terry, my new bride of 2 months and I won the Newest Married Award. We're still marrried and celebrated our 20th anniversary this year. Still working for San Diego City Fire Dept., but will retire in a year. Terry and I raised her daughters (who I adopted) and now they are on their own. Now we are raising my grandson, Eric, (the boy I never had) and at 13 he is still the apple of my eye. Where did that saying come from???? Bizarrre!!! We live in Rancho San Diego and once or twice a year I get together with a bunch of the '68 gang. Looking forward to retiring which probably means I'll be busier than ever. But, I'm gettin' a little bit tired of chasing fires around. This is my 33rd year of handling other people's emergencies. Looking forward to the reunion. They're always a blast. I'll upload my "now" picture as soon as I can get to my 'stylist'. Do you know how long it takes her to put this grey in my hair and moustache?? Anyway, will see you all in July. This is enough blah, blah, blah..... Pete |

Comment: | In order to stay in school and avoid the draft, I signed up for the Navy flight program in my sophomore year. After graduation I spent six and a half years on active duty and another four years in the reserves. The Navy was a great experience and I got to fly some interesting aircraft including the F-14. In 1979 I went to work for Delta Air Lines and for the next 25 years flew a variety of aircraft on both domestic and international routes. I retired as a Captain in 2004. In 2012, Nancy (Meng) class of 69, and I sold our house in |

Comment: | What have we been doing for the last 40 years? Wow, where to begin? In March we celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary. Our oldest daughter Stacey is a middle school counselor in San Jose. She and her new husband Al were married in Lake Tahoe in March. Valerie and her husband Adam blessed us with our first grandbaby, a little girl, Elyse, last June. She is now the apple of grandma and grandpa's eyes. The picture is at her first birthday party. They live in Chula Vista. Valerie works at Goodrich, the old Rohr Corp. and Adam works with computer designs and makes most of the Padre and Charger game banners. In June of 2006 we took our first cruise to Alaska, had a blast and want to do it again. The two of us try to get as much traveling in as possible in the summer months when we are off. We both work in the Folsom/ Cordova School District in Rancho Cordova, CA. with special education children. Otherwise we still go to work everyday, and drive each other crazy, Hope to see everyone this summer at the reunion. |

Comment: | Hi all; I am living in the Detroit, Mi area and have been for the last 15 years. I was a computer programmer/analyst but after being laid off a few years ago, I have been trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up! I am so glad this site was built. I missed the last couple of reunions because I was never notified, even though my parents still live in Chula Vista. I hope I will be able to make it for the 40th!!! I can't believe it. |

Comment: | I moved back to Hawaii for my junior/senior years and ended up back at Hillltop to graduate. Ended up right back in Hawaii after graduation. I married a sailor and did some traveling, and after 5 tries at kids, decided it wasn't to be and joined the Navy myself. Ended up divorcing the sailor and thouroughly enjoyed my navy career. Had every intention of doing my 20 when I met an Air Force gent in Italy and ended up married and living in Arizona (go figure). Did 14 years active and finished up in the reserves. Have worked for the forwarding unit at the P.O. for 18 years and now supervise the unit. I have hopes to retire next April. I am in the process of trying to get my own busness going, but that is still in the very early stages. It is great to find this site. |
